Minister Lokesh's visit to America.. Meeting with representatives of Tesla and Perot Group

AP Minister Nara Lokesh's visit to America continues. The minister met with the representatives of Perot and Tesla companies. The companies were invited to invest in AP.

Lokesh met Perot Group and Hillwood Development Chairman Ross Perot Jr. He asked to invest in aviation and infrastructure projects in the state. It was explained to him that AP coastal area is suitable for Alliance Texas type projects. He asked to cooperate in the development of ports, highways and cities in the state with public-private partnership. Ross Perot responded positively to this.

Set up 'Tesla' units in Anantapur..

On the other hand, Lokesh met Vaibhav Taneja, CFO of 'Tesla', a leader in the field of electric vehicle manufacturing. He visited Tesla's headquarters in Austin. He explained that Anantapur district will be a strategic location for setting up electric vehicle and battery manufacturing units. He said that by 2029, the aim is to achieve 72 gigawatts of renewable energy power generation in AP. Vaibhav Taneja said that Tesla is a global leader in electric vehicles, clean energy solutions and battery storage. Lokesh appealed to participate in installing solar panels for solar energy systems, smart cities and rural electrification in the state. He asked to participate in the development of EV charging network and implementation of super charging technology. The minister appealed to the CFO of Tesla to set up technology parks in the state.
